Using a fingerprint reader connected to a Kiosk System, the employee places his fingerprint on the reader when he leaves his existing work premises and places his finger when he enters another factory premise. This gives a real time movement of the employee and his current location. This helps the management to track at which factory premises the employee is at any given time.

Case Study

ATG have 5 factories located in different parts of the country and within the Free Trade Zone. ATG wanted to track the movement of their employees and at which factory location the employees were at any given time.

NBQSA (Cenmetrix Wins National Award)

Cenmetrix developed an application which integrated fingerprint and a touch screen system. Every time the employee left the premises, he would place his finger on the fingerprint reader, and via the touch screen monitor, select which factory/ location he was going to. When he arrived at that factory/ location, he would place his fingerprint again. Once the employee left the factory/ location, and headed back to his original work place, he would follow the same process. Using the fingerprint system, the actual employee present would be marked, and through a VPN (Virtual Private Network) the real time data download allowed ATG Supervisors/ Receptionist to track at any given time, which location their employees wereat.
