Project was done through Cenmetrix’s authorized distributor for Maldives: Inineonics (Pvt) Ltd
Trans Maldivian Airways operates the world’s largest seaplane fleet in the Maldives. The Airlines wanted to keep a track of the pilot and crew that were getting on board the planes between islands and monitor only the assigned crew enter the preassigned docks.Pilots, Crew and baggage loading personnel register themselves at the dock(s) stated on their dispatch document. At varying times, based on the dispatch document, different docks will be used. Upon release of the dispatch document, the pilot and crew members will go to their respective dock(s) and register themselves at the Bioentry-W reader via finger or RFID card within a given time frame. Only for the assigned docks, will the fingerprint or RFID card access be active for the pilot and crew. This avoids any issues of pilots or crew going to the wrong docks.
The fingerprint with RFID card reader was provided by Suprema Inc. The product used was the
Bioentry-W, which has an IP65 weather proof rating. In addition, an enclosure was put on the reader giving maximum protection again any possible corrosion.
The complete operation is handled by the Microsoft Navision ERP system. Cenmetrix developed the software integration platform between the Suprema BioStar software and the Microsoft ERP system to ensure a smooth automated process.
The solution provided 55 units of the Suprema Bioentry-W readers covering all the docks.
